Privacy
Short version: no cookies, no accounts, no ads, no tracking across sites. I count page views so I know which pages people read.
Page-view counts
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, from the company that hosts it. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type. It sets no cookies. According to Vercel, visitors are told apart by a hash of the request that resets every day and is never stored with an IP address. I only ever see totals. Because no cookies are used, there is no cookie banner.
Stored in your browser
If you dismiss the program-news banner, your browser remembers that in local storage so the banner stays hidden. That value never leaves your device. Nothing else is stored.
Hosting
The site is a set of static pages served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.
Screenshots
Every screenshot comes from searches I ran myself. Personal details that appear on them, such as my own name, are blacked out before publishing.
If you email me at chhajed.vidit@gmail.com, I use your address only to reply. I don’t add anyone to a mailing list.
Affiliate links and advertising
There are none. See Independence.
